Stove top directions
In a 3 quart pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add Kit, cover and reduce heat to medium or medium-low for your brew to remain on a low simmer until reduced by half, about 30-50minutes.
You want your brew to reduce to 2-3 cups during this process. Remove from eat and with a spatula, press bag to release more flavor. Remove bags and cool remaining juice to room temperature. Add one cup of raw local honey.*
Store in a glass jar and keep refrigerated.
Syrup will stay fresh for 2-3 months

Instant pot directions
Combine 4 cups of water with kit into instant pot. Seal the Instant pot and set it to “MANUAL” on “HIGH PRESSURE” for 10 minutes.
Quick release and saute for 10minutes (this saute step is optional for a more concentrated syrup).
Press kit bag with spatula to release more flavors and spices. Remove kit and cool juice to room temperature. Add 8 ounces raw honey (or omit honey for sugar free or infant-safe alternative)*
*For sugar free option or infant-safe option, omit honey or substitute with an alternative sweetener such as maple syrup or stevia
